The Accidental Artist: Billy Connolly

For the launch of comedian, actor, musician and artist Billy Connolly’s new book The Accidental Artist JACK ARTS Scotland teamed up with Total Media to bring its creative spirit onto the streets of his native city Glasgow – with 3d text and frames jumping out from the billboard, encouraging passersby to channel their inner artist by drawing in the empty spaces.

The Accidental Artist brings together Connolly’s colourful and imaginative drawings with a selection of his most beloved stories. ‘People think I paint or draw things on purpose. I don’t, I just draw. It is a portal for my imagination. And, just like my stand-up, I never know where it will lead.’ – Billy Connolly.
