Celebrating ten editions of Secret 7″

For the 10th edition, Secret 7″ has brought together musicians and artists to raise money for War Child UK, pairing a selection of songs with hundreds of individually designed 7-inch record sleeves. Each sleeve is completely unique, with artists using a wide range of techniques and materials, from painting and textiles to 3D and mixed media.

Part of the project’s appeal is the element of mystery. The artist and musician behind each record remain anonymous until after it’s purchased, meaning the artwork is the only clue to the music inside. This encourages people to look closer, make connections and imagine which song might sit behind each sleeve.

BUILDHOLLYWOOD continues to support Secret 7″ by bringing a selection of these artworks into the public realm through billboards across the UK. The scale and variety of the work make it particularly well suited to the street, where unexpected artworks can catch people’s attention and spark curiosity. For passers-by, the installation becomes a chance to discover the project, guess the music behind the artwork and experience the creative relationship between music and art in a new setting.

The exhibition celebrates ten editions of Secret 7″ while introducing its work to new audiences and continuing to raise awareness of War Child UK’s vital work.

Secret 7″ Co-Founder, Jordan Stokes, reflects on 10 editions of creative collaboration: “I’m unbelievably proud of everything Secret 7” has achieved. 2026 marks our tenth edition, and it’s been amazing to see the incredible community of musicians, artists, partners and fans we’ve built over the years. What started as a creative way to bring music and art together to make a difference has grown into a unique celebration of what’s possible when those worlds collide. The great thing about Secret 7″ has been the chance to create a shared understanding across the arts, music and broader creative community of the power of collaboration to create meaningful impact.

War Child has been leading Secret 7” since 2024 with every penny raised helping the charity protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through war. They’ve brought fantastic artists on board this year – including Clare Twomey MBE, Thierry Noir, Joy Yamusangie, and MURUGIAH – so this is going to be another amazing auction and exhibition.”
