BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2024

Year on year, BBC Radio 1 has the coveted title of welcoming in the festival season. Despite the unpredictable (yet somewhat predictable) British weather, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2024 in Luton didn’t let the rain dampen the experience of those ecstatic to welcome in a summer of music. Delivering an extraordinary mix of talent and energy, the festival witnessed memorable performances from Chase & Status, Coldplay, Charli XCX, RAYE, Aitch and others.

BUILDHOLLYWOOD, fittingly, had a big weekend of our own, postering 382 meters worth of fencing at the festival. DIABOLICAL worked with Polydor Records, for an impressive takeover of the festival site featuring artists such as Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Becky Hill and Mabel, and The Orchard to highlight headliner RAYE’s new album, via our 48 and 96 sheets. Meanwhile, JACK ARTS bought some culture into the mix, with Sacha Lord’s memoir, the Tate’s Yoko Ono exhibition, and the Moulin Rouge Musical. Bring on the next, we say.
