Keep Motion Moving

For nearly twenty years, Motion has stood at the heart of Bristol’s nightlife, growing from a humble skate park in a former gasworks into one of the UK’s most iconic music venues. More than just a club, it has become a vital cultural landmark, welcoming global artists, shaping generations of music lovers, and serving as a space where creativity, connection, and community thrive. Now, with the news that its lease will not be renewed beyond July 2025, the future of this beloved venue is in doubt. Determined not to let its legacy fade, the team behind Motion has launched a public campaign to secure a new home. With a city wide poster campaign JACK ARTS are calling on the people of Bristol, and anyone who has ever danced, connected, or found something meaningful within its walls, to rally behind the effort, spread the word, and help ensure that Motion continues to be a place where music brings people together for years to come.
