BBC Made of Belfast: Blue Lights

The BBC’s Made Of Here series is a love letter to the hometowns and cities across the UK that have inspired some of their most iconic TV shows and characters.

After the playful public interventions in Glasgow for the shows Still Game and Dinosaur, JACK ARTS Scotland once again teamed up with the BBC, this time to celebrate Northern Irish police drama series Blue Lights with a tease and reveal campaign in Belfast. Starting with paper and paste posters, the campaign culminated in a bespoke, neon creative billboard – lighting up the street with blue-lit words from the phonetic alphabet, in reference to the practice used for police radios, spelling out ‘MADE OF BELFAST’.
