BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2026 kicked off the festival season with a weekend of unforgettable live music, bringing thousands of fans together to celebrate some of the biggest names in the industry. Taking place at Herrington Country Park, the festival saw headline performances from Fatboy Slim, Zara Larsson, Louis Tomlinson, and Olivia Dean, alongside a diverse line-up of emerging talent and established favourites. With its vibrant atmosphere and memorable performances, the event remains one of the UK’s most anticipated events in the live music calendar.

As the festival season gets underway, BUILDHOLLYWOOD continues to bring music and culture into the spaces where audiences connect. Working with leading promoters, labels, and artists, DIABOLICAL delivered multi-format campaigns for headline acts Olivia Dean and Zara Larsson, as well as artists Myles Smith and Niall Horan, helping bring their festival moments to life. Alongside this, JACK ARTS showcased Factory International’s The Surge: An Ode to Sinéad O’Connor, and We Invented the Weekend, Salford’s free festival, creating impactful outdoor experiences that authentically connected with an engaged audience.
