Manchester Art Fair 2025
Manchester Art Fair (MAF) returned for 2025, once again transforming Manchester Central into a vibrant hub of creativity, showcasing work from hundreds of established and emerging artists. Running alongside the main fair, The Manchester Contemporary continued to champion new galleries and artist-led initiatives, creating space for experimentation, conversation, and fresh perspectives.
JACK ARTS partnered with MAF once again to bring this year’s campaign to life across the city. For 2025, the featured campaign artwork came from the Manchester-based Bibianna African Art Collective, who represent the artist Agboola Emmanuel. His vibrant piece, known for its bold colour and strong visual presence, became the focal image of the fair’s street campaign.
This year, MAF also invited JACK ARTS to select an additional artwork from the full collection to showcase on one of their chosen sites. The selected piece was Manchester, Drag Brunch Cigarette Break by photographer Charles Eastwood – a striking image captured on Manchester’s iconic Princess Street. Displayed on a 16-sheet installation on the very street where it was photographed, the placement created a meaningful and memorable moment for this year’s campaign.
Adding to the experience, the 2025 campaign introduced scannable QR codes on posters, allowing passersby to instantly claim free tickets, creating a more interactive and welcoming approach to audience engagement. With exhibitions, talks, workshops, and more, Manchester Art Fair 2025 continued to provide a vital platform for artists while offering visitors accessible and inspiring ways to explore contemporary art.
