Cardiff: Freshers 2021

With the beginning of the new university year comes another influx of freshers, filling city centres with even more life as thousands of students head to their new-found homes. In the Welsh capital, Cardiff University, the University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Wales all have bases in the city, making it a huge hotspot for events, festivals, and celebrations.

For the city’s freshers’ season, we took over Cardiff with student-targeted campaigns featuring festivals, club nights, bars, the Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival, and much, much more, on our billboard, street poster and temporary tower displays. Capitalising on sites right by student accommodation, student unions, key transport hubs, and in the heart of the city, it provided the perfect way to showcase the city’s exceptional student life to new and returning residents.
