A Life in Ink: Ralph Steadman
Ralph Steadman is a satirist, artist, cartoonist, illustrator, writer who has been creating ground-breaking art for over 60 years. Ralph Steadman: A Life in Ink is the definitive career retrospective of one of our most important, influential living artists whose art defined the 1970s counterculture. He joins Will Self to tell the story of his life in ink, from his Welsh childhood to the invention of Gonzo with Hunter S. Thompson.
To make the release of this major retrospective hardback, we worked with Abrams and Chronicle Books to bring our site to life with a host of Steadman’s revered characters and his iconic splattered-ink style. The impact of the site was elevated to new heights with the addition of a 3D book cover spilling out from the board. (A simple but highly effective addition to a poster site to create intrigue on the street.)
