London Museum Docklands: Secrets of the Thames
Be it in the warmth of sunny days or under the cloak of darker late afternoons, London Museum Docklands have a treasure trove of secrets about the River Thames ready for uncovering through their ongoing exhibition: Mudlarking: Secrets of the Thames. And to help spread the word this season, AKA came to JACK ARTS with a brief to propose a creative, eye-catching campaign playing on the themes of hidden treasures, discovery and secrets.
Working with our Creative Studio, JACK ARTS were inspired to create a mini exhibit-style billboard at our Quaker Street site using lightboxes that would act like the display cases holding all the secret treasures of the exhibition. The museum’s design team were also consulted to determine the best placements and sizes for the lightboxes as well the outlines of some of the treasures to encourage people to visit the exhibit to explore the actual pieces.
And with the campaign going live in November, JACK ARTS made the most of the darker days by lighting up the site to playfully remind people that museums are a great place to visit on colder, darker days too.
