Art Walk Porty Festival 2025
Each September, Edinburgh’s beachside suburb Portobello (known locally as Porty) comes alive with installations and participatory art for the Art Walk Porty Festival.
For their 10th edition, they presented ShowGround, a performance centred programme celebrating seaside entertainment and travelling showpeople culture. Spanning 60 venues, including a collaboration with a local amusement arcade, the festival showcased circus, acrobatics, puppetry, theatre, dance and film.
JACK ARTS Scotland took the colourful pastel hues of the festival branding to sites across Edinburgh – from 4 sheets hosted on a range of our panels and drums, to a bold 6 in-a-row takeover at our Meadowbank hoardings, a main thoroughfare to Porty – ensuring maximum visibility for locals and visitors to the East of the city.
