Peggy Gou: I Hear You
We’re all ears for Peggy. The Korean superstar (and businesswoman) has many accolades under her fashionable belts including most recently, and impressively, her rosy nostalgic ’90s house track (It Goes Like) Nanana went No. 1 in five countries and has been streamed nearly 500 million times, earning the luxurious ‘song of the summer’ title. Her debut album, I Hear You, is no different – cherry-picking iconic sounds from house music’s heyday.
To launch the album into London, we worked with XL Recordings for a takeover on our 1 Quaker Street site. Supersizing the album creative, featuring Gou in a bespoke mirrored headpiece designed by Olafur Eliasson, the build also promoted her Gunnersbury Park headline show and was supported by a wall-to-wall fly campaign throughout London and Manchester. Peggy even made an ecstatic trip down to the billboard herself and shared it to her 4 plus million followers.
