Natural History Museum: Birds
‘Birds are the soundtrack to our morning, they soar through the skies and swoop around our streets, but how well do we really know our feathered friends?’ The Natural History Museum’s latest exhibition unravelled the story of birds in an enlightening and shocking display which included fossilised specimens, interactive displays and immersive murmuration projections.
JACK ARTS worked alongside Posterscope to bring the exhibition to life at our 1 Quaker Street site, which welcomed a mesmerizing wave of starlings in flight. The bold and bright 3D display featured hot pink bird forms that glided effortlessly across the site, casting shadows as they joined the rest of their flock.
Emulating the exhibition’s interactive displays, passers-by were encouraged to engage with the poster site through a QR competition that offered £250 of NHM goodies, and aimed to finally answer the age-old question… which came first, the chicken or the egg?
