Minions: The Rise of Gru

Despicable Me – what started as a much-loved film has become the highest-grossing animated series of all time, and its central cartoon characters, the Minions, have evolved into somewhat of a cultural phenomenon. The franchise’s 2022 film, Minions: The Rise of Gru, again revolves around their escapades as they set out to save a depraved and determined young Gru from a nosedive towards supervillainy. In London, to celebrate the film’s release, we created a huge mural in the heart of Shoreditch with MediaCom and Kinetic, mirroring the lead figures from its retro-inspired poster in iconic Minion yellow.
