junodream: Pools of Colour

Pools of Colour is the debut album from self-proclaimed ‘space-rock’ band junodream. Having released several EPs since their coming-together in 2018, Pools of Colour is the maturest yet, boasting in dreamy guitar melodies and heavy atmosphere. The record skilfully navigates complex themes such as modernity, existentialism, mental health and the age of technology – with the title track being a conceptual piece about patient-zero losing their sight after receiving Elon Musk’s Neuralink, resulting in them only being able to see “pools of colour.”

The band celebrated the release with an interactive takeover of our Broadway Market 96 sheet. Fans, friends and passersby of East London were invited have a listen to the record and leave a comment on the poster, letting the band in on their thoughts.
