Jack Arts
Fairtrade: Fair on the Planet
Renowned for advocating for better social, environmental, and economic sustainability practices, Fairtrade is back with a new campaign fighting for a brighter future. Using a suite of bold and vibrant murals, Fairtrade is bringing conversations about the mounting climate pressures farmers and workers overseas are facing to the streets.
Three artists. Three cities. One central message. JACK ARTS teamed up with Fairtrade and muralists Kushiaania, Oshii, and Foka Wolf to empower people with ways to demand business that’s fair to people and planet. Making our poster sites their own, each mural highlights the stark future that awaits familiar food products and us if taken for granted. Bringing the campaign closer to home, musician Big Zuu stopped by the London mural with the Fairtrade team and got people’s reactions to the potential impact of climate change on the UK’s favourite hot drinks.
Take a closer look at the murals in London, Bristol, and Birmingham that are sparking conversations about how communities, the government, and businesses can ensure fairer trade systems.
