The Whitechapel Gallery: Mark Dion exhibition

Artist, explorer and conservationist – Mark Dion’s latest exhibition opened at The Whitechapel Gallery in February. “The Theatre of the Natural World” took visitors on a journey through natural history, with incredible installations, objects and pictures from his acclaimed 25-year back catalogue on display. The centrepiece was an amazing new sculpture, The Library for the Birds of London, complete with an aviary of 11 pairs of live finches.

To celebrate the opening of this special exhibition, we worked with The Whitechapel Gallery to create something a little bit different on specific poster sites in London. We went green – bright green to be exact – painting the frames in an incredible eye-catching paint. The frames were standout and unmissable as they glowed on the streets, bringing an exciting new twist to the promotion of the highly rated new show.
