James Blake: The Colour in Anything
After he sent the Internet into meltdown in early 2010, James Blake has held fans hearts ransom since. The soulful artist has dropped an incredible new album, The Colour in Anything. We teamed up with Polydor records to tease out a campaign a week before its release, by mysteriously putting up a mural in Shoreditch’s Great Eastern Street. The artwork featured watercolour landscapes across four panels, a shadowy figure and the album name. Sir Quentin Blake, who is famously known for illustrating the work of author Roald Dahl, designed the moody mural. The campaign generated intrigue on the street and a big PR stir across major publications.
