Dame Jacqueline Wilson is an icon of the publishing world, and when Havas Entertainment approached JACK ARTS to promote her new book, we knew it had to be a showstopper. Following the success of her debut adult novel, Think Again, Wilson was ready to continue the story of another beloved character, the Illustrated Mum. What better place to announce this big news than in her hometown of Brighton. 

The statue, crafted from a 3D scan, was toured across iconic Brighton landmarks, capturing the attention of passersby at every turn, before finding its final home at Waterstones Brighton. But the stunt didn’t stop there; we invited passersby to add tattoos as a nod to the highly anticipated sequel, Picture Imperfect, an adult continuation to the cherished story of two sisters navigating the unpredictable behaviour of their mother, Marigold Westward. Wilsons iconic presence, combined with the engaging, hands-on experience, made this stunt not only a celebration of her new book but a true testament to her lasting impact on readers of all ages.
