With so much music promotion, performance and consumption taking place online now, artists have to be creative with how they connect with their fans. To mark the release of their second album Isles, electronic music duo BICEP weren’t content with a simple livestream. Instead, they created a fun filter that their fans could use on Instagram and then send to the band.
We then teamed up with record label Ninja Tune to project the images of themselves using the filter onto buildings across London, creating a collaborative, community energy at a time when electronic music fans can’t get together.
At the same time, we put up billboards across London to advertise the livestream, featuring glowing reviews from outlets for Isles. According to The Guardian, the duo created the soundtrack for the “ultimate living room rave”.
