Alice Rekab x Edinburgh Art Festival

For the 2025 edition of Edinburgh Art Festival – the UK’s largest annual festival of visual art – JACK ARTS Scotland helped present new work from artist Alice Rekab on our Wishaw Terrace partnership site in Edinburgh, as part of the festival’s co-commission with Liverpool Biennial.

Exploring themes of diaspora, migration and identity, the three bold 12 in-a-row panels of Let Me Show You Who I Am were the result of workshops Rekab hosted with SCORE Scotland and their group of young people in Wester Hailes in Edinburgh – with the workshops offering platforms of self-expression for the young people involved through music, dance, voice and ceramics.
