Cymru Unleashed: Empowering Wales through Sport

Creativity. Sport. Innovation. These three elements underpin how the bold grassroots initiative, Cymru Unleashed, empowers girls and women in Wales – especially those from underrepresented communities. Established to mark Wales’ historic participation in UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, Cymru Unleashed creates ways for girls and women to take pride in their identity, explore leadership through football, and express themselves through art and digital storytelling.

This autumn, JACK ARTS teamed up with Cymru Unleashed’s lead partner OTID Entertainment (AfroWales) to deliver a city-wide poster campaign as part of their plans to foster inclusion in women’s football and beyond. Enlisting billboards and drums across Cardiff, a suite of artwork popped up to raise awareness of the brilliant work Cymru Unleashed is doing across Wales.
