Kinds of Kindness

With Poor Things being his most accessible work yet, Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos has returned to his ways with his latest. Released some 4 months after Poor Things, Kinds of Kindness is an unwieldy triptych of not quite connected stories, starring the same repertory group of actors.

To welcome the film to the street, JACK worked with St Marks Studios on an eery takeover of London, Manchester and Brighton. Featuring film-still portraits of the actors with their own faces superimposed and scaled up, the result was an incongruous campaign that leaned into the discomfort and the surreal bizzaro-logic of the film itself.
