YouTube Music’s Artist on the Rise: Griff

Being named on the coveted BBC Sound of 2021 list was the beginning of a masterful year for Griff, swiftly followed by the release of her first mixtape, One Foot in Front of the Other, that reached the number 4 spot on the UK Albums Chart.

Coupled with a performance that took the Brits by storm, she also became one of the youngest artists ever to win the Brit Award for Rising Star. Adding yet another accolade to her name, Griff was also designated a YouTube Music Artist on the Rise this year – so we teamed up with Warner Records to celebrate.

Projecting the news onto London landmarks across the city made the perfect way to congratulate Griff on the streets, and she paid us a personal visit for the occasion – with the resulting pictures and videos receiving over 15k likes on her Instagram.
