Tourist: Memory Morning

William Edward Phillips, AKA Tourist, takes inspiration from the environments around him. Through sampling field recordings of public spaces that explore the nuanced corners of dance music, Phillips creates emotive and transcendent house and UK Garage tracks that have become his trademark.

Fitting then, that DIABOLICAL partnered with The Orchard, to return the latest release from the Grammy award winning electronic musician, Memory Morning, to the streets. Taking over our site at 1 Quaker Street, we launched a creative campaign that reimagined a bright and blue sky, no matter the weather. Just as the record reimagines horizons, this creative billboard blended boundaries between art and the real world. Located in a key cultural hub within buzzing Shoreditch, our site at 1 Quaker Street was transformed into a space of reflection, a step away from the sounds of the city.
