The Photographer of the Lost: Caroline Scott
‘Heart-rending and illuminating’, The Photographer of the Lost by Caroline Scott focuses on those left behind after the First World War and the fascinating vocation of the photographers hired by grieving families to capture images of gravestones of the fallen.
We worked with Simon and Schuster to bring the story to life, quite literally, with a poster campaign paired with an engaging live action element. The marketing stunt saw the novel’s main character Harry seemingly step out from the billboard and the shadows of WWI, straight onto the streets of London.
Dressed in detailed replica wardrobe, meticulously created by Khaki Devil, the engaging live campaign was paired with city wide posters providing the backdrop as the photographer of the lost roamed the streets of London with his camera. Did you spot him?
