Lies We Sing to the Sea: Sarah Underwood

A fantasy romance inspired by Greek mythology, Sarah Underwood’s Lies We Sing to the Sea was an instant New York Times bestseller, garnering heaps of praise. Taking place in the cursed kingdom of Ithaca, Underwood’s thrilling and breath-taking tale for young adults is ‘a story of love, grief, sacrifice, and ultimately, the power we must find within.’ 

To celebrate the release of such a unique book, we teamed up with HarperCollins to build a window display at Waterstones Liverpool that showcases the book’s beautiful illustrations, recreating the book’s final scene with detailed props: scrolls with handwritten prophecies, vials of magic potions and hundreds of daffodils. The installation was a huge hit, drawing crowds into the store to learn more.
