Klara and the Sun: Kazuo Ishiguro
Legendary Nobel prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro hasn’t released a novel since 2015’s The Buried Giant, leaving fans anxious for news. In June this year, Ishiguro announced Klara and the Sun, a novel about an artificial friend who wants to find a human owner. With the Faber editorial director calling the novel, “a novel about the human heart that speaks urgently to the here and now, but from another place,” anticipation is running high.
To amp up excitement even more, we teamed up with Faber & Faber to reveal the book jacket on the streets of London at Blackfriars. Featuring a bold red background and a series of posters that show different phases of the sun in different vibrant colours, this also revealed the release date of March 2021.
