Hammersmith & Fulham Council: Rewilding Raves
Dragonfly Pool Party? Hedgehog Silent Disco? Butterfly Flash-mob? As part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Climate Action Together initiative, we encouraged the borough’s residents to party with purpose and host ‘Rewilding Raves’ to help local nature and biodiversity thrive.
From the borough’s network of green and wet spaces to private gardens, windowsills, and doorsteps, the campaign with Fieldwork Facility aimed to inspire small actions to create big change. Together with interactive QR-code poster designs and protest-plaque style installations in key locations, it highlighted the need to let nature go wild, with ideas from adopting a local street tree to creating doorstep bug hotels.
With an ambitious target to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030, the Rewilding Raves initiative and supporting campaign brought the importance of nature to the forefront, whilst transforming the borough from grey to green.
