Falastin Film Festival x Gaza Biennale: The Edinburgh Pavilion

In collaboration with Falastin Film Festival and Gaza Biennale, JACK ARTS Scotland presented artwork from three artists working in Gaza today at our partnership site on Wishaw Terrace, forming the biennale’s Edinburgh Pavilion, one of 13 pavilions, or ‘jinnah’, across 12 countries.

Malaka Abu Owda, Mohammed Alhaj and Ahmad Adawi were invited to shared their work and voices across the site’s three 12 in-a-row panels throughout the 2025 edition of Falastin Film Festival – a volunteer-run, not-for-profit collective of Palestinians and allies dedicated to sharing Palestinian stories and voices with Scottish audiences through the power of cinema and art.
