European Championships Glasgow 2018

August 2018 will see in the first ever multi-sport European Championships, bringing together approximately 4,500 of the biggest sports stars. To be staged every four years thereon, much of the inaugural games will be hosted primarily in Glasgow and Scotland, with the Aquatics, Cycling, Golf, Gymnastics, Rowing and Triathlon taking centre stage. To celebrate Glasgow being under the sporting spotlight, the team behind the championships have been painting the city in celebration, and bringing everyone together around the sport, cultural festival and community activities that the games bring with them.

Jack Arts Scotland were excited to meet with Glasgow Life to see how they could help elevate the championships on a street level, working directly with them on a city-wide campaign. Every drum and poster site in town was enlisted to help spread the word on the importance of this event throughout the city.
