Don’t Panic! Cost of Loving

We partnered with creative agency Don’t Panic to shed light on new law changes by Conservatives, which mean many international couples will be unable to be together.

On Valentine’s Day, Don’t Panic launched a ‘love calculator’ via their website, to help couples assess the compatibility of their relationship under new Conservative policy that comes into effect this Spring. Dubbed as the ‘Cost of Loving Crisis’, data suggests it would be impossible for up to 70% of UK workers, including nurses and teachers, to bring their family into the UK, as the earning bracket required for a visa is set to rise £29,000 in Spring 2024, and again in 2025 to over £37,000.

Using our billboard site in Whitechapel, our new digital site near Shepherd’s Bush roundabout, and flyposters across London, we shared a QR code that takes passerby directly to the novel compatibility test. Featuring Rishi Sunak as Cupid, our sites and the QR code brought the campaign to life across the capital.
