Iconic Manchester City footballer Raheem Sterling is recognised all over the world for his achievements in the sport. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, the player still has ties to the country’s rich cultural history, which he says has played an “important role in his life”. For his collab with Clarks originals on a Wallabee, Sterling wanted to play tribute both to Jamaica and to the “first pair of shoes he ever saved up to buy”. Dedicating the shoe to everyone in Jamaica, Clarks and Raheem also set up a community partnership with his schools back home, giving back to the place he came from.

To showcase the shoe and get the message out about this partnership, we teamed up with Clarks on billboard and poster takeovers across London featuring Raheem Sterling and his collaboration with Clarks, a deep green suede Wallabee with the message “out of many, one people” embossed inside.
