Brockhampton: Iridescence
In September 2018, music collective BROCKHAMPTON geared up to release their new album, Iridescence. The album would go on to become the hip-hop group’s first billboard 200 number one, and was released alongside a special documentary film charting everything from their signing to RCA to the album recording at Abbey Road Studios.
The film, The Longest Summer in America, screened around the world on September 20th – and we were on hand to make sure that the London debut went with a bang. Taking over Rich Mix Cinema in the heart of Shoreditch, we threw a private screening party for fans who had won tickets to attend. We arranged and installed wall vinyls and provided rainbow themed ice cream, candy floss and pick ‘n’ mix sweets, which were inspired by the album cover. To create extra buzz on the day of the screening, BROCKHAMPTON stencils also appeared around Shoreditch – and in particular on the road to the venue. The album was then also promoted on 48 sheet billboards in key locations around London, everywhere from Tower Hamlets to Lewisham.
