The Festival Of Brexit: Cold War Steve

Cold War Steve has become a cult phenomenon, known for knocking up, absurd collages to portray a dystopian image of Britain’s future – featuring actors to world leaders and Brexiters, it’s a wacky world he lives in.

We had an absolute blast, teaming up with Cold War Steve and Thames and Hudson to present The Festival of Brexit book. We took over our Leonard Street site in Shoreditch, with some live collaging that featured a motley crew of characters including a topless David Cameron, and Kim Jong Un in a hedge, amongst other crazy imagery.

The live collage was hosted by Cold War Steve himself with the help of people on the street. Also supporting the campaign was a dishevelled Boris Johnson and hard man Phil Mitchell lookalikes, standing next to the poster site handing out Fray Bentos pies to bemused passers-by. The campaign was a huge hit, being picked up by ITV News and Sky News amongst other publications.
