Tate: Cézanne

Paul Cézanne once claimed, ‘With an apple, I will astonish Paris’ – and went on to become one of modern art’s most pivotal figures. His works spanning still life, landscapes and paintings of bathers have since travelled to galleries and exhibitions across the globe, regarded as masterpieces of the post-Impressionist movement. Celebrating his place in art history, Tate Modern’s latest retrospective of his work spans his career, featuring many pieces never shown before in the UK. 

To share news of the exhibition across London, we worked with Tate and AKA on a street poster campaign with a multitude of formats, and spanning the north, south, east and west of the city. Bringing Cézanne’s beautiful brushstrokes to the streets, the campaign celebrated one of London’s best arts offerings, giving a sneak peek at some of the painter’s most famous and loved works.
