Millenium Gallery: Dutch Flower Paintings

Bringing together contemporary works, a new commission by Sheffield-based Kedisha Coakley, and some of the finest Dutch floral paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, Dutch Flower Paintings arrived at the Millenium Gallery in Sheffield with a showcase that’s imbued with ‘beauty, colour and life’. Centred around such an incredible period of art that unites the fantastical with ‘meticulous technique and rich detail’, Dutch Flower Paintings is as much about the famed botanical observations as it is the ‘dazzling, vibrant compositions’.  

To bring news of the blooming exhibition to the city, we worked with Sheffield Museums on a street poster campaign highlighting the impressive works on view.
