Max Porter: Grief Is The Thing with Feathers

Grief Is The Thing with Feathers is a novel about two young boys who face the unbearable sadness of their mother’s sudden death. Their father, a Ted Hughes scholar and scruffy romantic, imagines a future of well-meaning visitors and emptiness. To help promote Max Porter’s astonishing debut, we teamed up with Faber & Faber to create a delightful feather billboard in Shoreditch. Our unique special build went on to win an award at the Book Marketing Society awards for the May-August 2016 season.
