Kindness Day: Wonder

The bestselling novel, Wonder, written by R J Palacio is the inspiration behind Kindness Day. It is based on a 10 year old boy by the name of Auggie, who likes doing normal 10 year old things, but does not look like other ‘normal’ kids. The novel shares his experience and shows us how small acts of kindness can have a huge impact on an individual’s life. To spread the word about Kindness Day, we created quirky chalk stencils, and dotted them all around central London – they featured the face of Auggie and the word ‘Kindness’ boldly in the artwork. Chapter samples of the book were also handed out, to help cheer up commuters on their daily route.
