Grimes: Anthropocene

After earning mainstream recognition for the release of Art Angels in 2015, Grimes has dropped her fifth album, Miss Anthropocene. It’s here in all its beauty and weirdness that we’d expect from the electro pop artist who says that it’s a concept album anthropomorphizing the “goddess of climate change.” Miss Anthropocene is a psychedelic space-dwelling demon or beauty queen who “relishes the end of the world”. The artist has found a whole new way to shine a light on climate change by flipping the narrative to amp up attention on the issue, and we’ve been helping her spread this message with our new creation in Shoreditch.
