Glasgow School of Art: Postgraduate Degree Shows

At the heart of Glasgow’s arts and culture scene since 1845, the Glasgow School of Art is one of the most influential and respected art schools in in the world, internationally recognised as a centre of excellence and with eight Turner Prize winners among its alumni. 

The school’s annual postgraduate Degree Shows feature a wealth of new and ground-breaking work from students across its five schools, ranging from fine art to sculpture, product design to silversmithing, interior design to architecture, and everything in between. Utilising a wide range of both physical and digital media, this year’s student-made works addressed crucial issues including climate change and sustainability, gender identity and post-colonial discourse, and were displayed across the university’s buildings as part of a packed two-week exhibition programme. 

Working with us to bring the 2023 shows to the streets of the city, the GSA’s multi-format poster campaign spotlighting atmospheric black and white photography from students Mingzhuo Zheng and Jieyu Deng, coupled with block pastel colours on our larger takeover sites and a dazzling gold foil treatment on our Osborne Street billboard.
