Festival season so far…

As years go by, summer becomes ever more synonymous with a vibrant, joyful, and thriving festival season. Having manoeuvred through the pandemic, 2022’s looks (and hopes) to be the first restriction-free one in three years – a very welcome prospect for fans and industry alike.

For us, we started out with a trip to the roving BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, then hoofed it to London’s wild, free and pop-filled celebration of LGBTQ+ identities at Mighty Hoopla. We got our metal fix at Download and matched it with a dose of electronic-driven energy from Manchester’s Parklife – each event as invigorating as the last, but with a wholly incomparable vibe.

From the punk and anarchic, to the pop devotees and dance music heads, the joy and euphoria has been palpable in every park and field we’ve set foot (and poster) in. We’re so pleased to be along for the ride, papering and pasting walls in technicolour to provide the backdrops to memories that’ll be around for years more. So – here’s to a hope for more fun in the sun, and all the rest that’s left to come.
